    blank

    • 12 slices ham
    • 4 slices bacon, partially cooked
    • 6 ounces green olives, sliced
    • ¼ cup raisins (or dried cranberries for lower carbs)

    blank

    • 1 egg
    • 1 tablespoon water

    Directions

    1. Make the Dough In a large bowl, combine the Sonora Bolillo Bread Mix, warm water, and egg. Stir until a dough forms. Knead by hand for about 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

    2. Cover and let rest for 1 hour, allowing the dough to rise slightly.
    3. Roll and Pre-Bake Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

    4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly oil it. Roll the dough into a rectangle approximately 10 inches wide and 14–15 inches long.
    5. Pinch off a small, fist-sized piece of dough and set aside for decorating later.
    6. Pre-bake for 25 minutes, until the underside is lightly golden. Remove from oven.
    7. Prepare the Dough Strips Roll out the reserved dough and cut it into 10 long strips.

    8. 4. Assemble the Filling Flip the pre-baked dough so the smooth side faces down.
    9. Layer evenly: Ham, Bacon, Olives, Raisins (or Cranberries)

    10. Roll and Decorate Roll tightly from the long edge, seam side down. Lightly dampen the surface and lay the dough strips across the top in a decorative pattern.

    11. Brush with egg wash if using.
    12. Final Bake Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown and fragrant.

    13. To Serve Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
